vBookz PDF Voice Reader US App Reviews

Very helpful app.

This app is an effective use of time. I use it to read scientific papers for work at the gym and in the car while commuting to work. Few draw backs. The voice doesnt flow well. Tends to pronounce syllables more often than the entire word, which takes some getting used too. And it reads EVERYTHING, which can be frustrating when reading scientific papers. The Pauses are too long at periods, citations and tables.

Hard to use

Stupid is

Exactly what Ive been waiting for!

Performs exactly what its meant to do. It has the best navigation and pronunciation out of all the readers Ive come across. Drop in my books that I want to read or listen to and its a go. The navigation box that lets you know what word is being read out loud is a excellent Idea. would have never thought of that. My only issue with this would be the ability to bookmark pages manually. Ive had times were it would remember the page I was on last and then the next time I came back to it the page I read last would revert to a page I read earlier in the book. However considering the lack of applications like this one and the overall polish of the app looks at this being of little importance. Add manual bookmarking and this becomes the defacto PDF reader hands down. I dont do many reviews but when I do, Its to either bash something terrible or highly praise it. This gets my vote. EDIT: this app was awesome until they took away the standard English voice engine the app came with. Now the reason I bought the app has been taken away from me. i would like the original functionality returned when I payed for it or my money back.

it needs updates to improve it!

it needs feedback on how to improve this app instead of reviews.

Not worth it

Skipping the lines and jumping to next paragraph.

A great app for anyone that enjoys audio books!

Read this first before anything...

Best App & a MUST Have!!! Education wise... Priceless. Judge the book by its cover I say... Or not its up to the context we truly grasp. Rating never really matter, because its always been the unpopular that truly delivers its true value in the end. GET it... Its the cheapest education you can give to yourself.

Doesnt understand English.

This program falsely claims that it can read English. It does frequently identifies letters incorrectly, and splits words into two different words. Absolutely horrible.

Great app!! Minor bugs

The only problem I found is the sections or titles. I usually dont know when I finish a chapter. Also, it would be good if it could skip page number or headers.

Pretty good reader; not so good navigation

I give it 5 stars for reading, but 1 star for ease of navigation. It sometimes seems impossible to leave the reading function when trying to get to the navigation menu bars. Patient persistence repeatedly touching the border around the text window will eventually open the menu bars. However, the reader is worth putting up with this aggravating distraction.

Supper excellent better than Siri of Apple...

Hey apple company you gotta try this better that your siri reading on you iBook... Its dump

Thank you!

Really happy to have your awesome app!

Great for us dialectics

Great for us who are reading challenged.

A useful app but it still needs some improvement

This may be still only an advanced app to read aloud pdf pages. This helps me concentrate to read the enormous information, efficiently stabilize them as my knowledge and ease my eye straining. However, there will be yet room of improvement. I like the crop feature added in this version, which allows us to skip the header and footer. If there is capability of cropping off the sides of the pages, we can avoid getting read the page numbers in some books. My second wish coming up to my mind will be the page gesture. In the current version, since there is capability of flipping over the page wherever I stroke my finger on the page, I have tough time to locate the red box to get to start reading aloud. If page flipping gesture is limited in the side of the pages, it will reduce my irritation. (E.g. Tap an allow or other gestures.) They are my current thoughts about this app.

Love it!

Best text to speech Ive found. Thanks!

A great study tool

Turns any PDF into an audio book. I use it while exercising. Its great to help digest even the most boring material. Its helped me study for tests. I love this app.
